Job Title: Plant Engineer

Salary: 110k-130k
- Participate in training, embrace concepts of and actively practice the STOP Safety Program fundamentals to aid Corporation’s efforts to achieve a zero accident rate.
- Initiate, evaluate, coordinate and track the entire CER (Capital Expenditure Request) process including the recommendation, design, installation and cost management processes for all building and equipment expansions/ improvements.
- Prepare all equipment specification paperwork and create and monitor all machine installation/modification completion time lines.
- Recruit, train, motivate and develop a staff of maintenance workers, engineers and others.
- Utilize outside contract personnel when necessary.
- Identify and direct the activities of all Maintenance employees and installation subcontractors. Ensure all subcontractors meet APC’s quality and safety requirements.
- Embrace the Maintenance employee advocate role managing all Maintenance employee issues in an efficient and timely manner.
- Oversee and ensure completion of the entire ongoing preventative maintenance process for manufacturing equipment in the facility.
- Ensure management and timely implementation of work orders.
- Ensure building and grounds are properly maintained.
- Perform necessary mechanical design projects utilizing CAD computer software.
- Interface with Divisional staff to ensure an operational, safe and cost effective manufacturing operation.
- Develop, implement and ensure adherence to all required OSHA guidelines and programs including but not limited to weekly safety audits, accident reporting/investigation, emergency evacuation procedures, fire protection, proper machine guarding and lock out tag out programs.
- Attend and participate in all safety, ergonomics and OSHA compliance committee meetings and activities.
- Analyze and rectify all manufacturing equipment problems.
- Align all Divisional Products Division Maintenance goals with departmental goals and ensure all project designs are technically correct.
- Prepare monthly Maintenance Department highlights.
- Adhere to all company safety guidelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and six years related experience and/or training.
- Electrical and/or Controls Engineering with PLC (RS Logix, Allen Bradley,etc) experience required.
- 5+ years as a Plant Engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Project Management
- Maintenance including predictive preventative, reliability and vibration analysis.
