Manufacturing Manager for this Paper Mill in the midwest

MUST BE OUT OF A PAPER MILL

Requirements:
Bachelors degree (B.A. Paper Science or ChE preferred) with a minimum of five years experience

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership ability in Safety, Quality, Continuous Improvement, and Operations.
• Demonstrated ability to improve plant/mill results significantly, predictably and continuously, maintaining industry leading safety performance, mill efficiencies above 92%, excellent and consistent product performance to the customer, and a passion for continuous improvement of people and processes.
• Must be able to create and lead the development of a high performance maintenance organization that results in minimal unplanned downtime, maximum machine performance, consistency of product, and appropriate costs. The resulting organization would demonstrate competence / focus on precision maintenance and preventative maintenance activities, high percentage of planned activity, root cause analysis and elimination, and continuous improvement.

Job Duties:
The manager' s primary role is one of leadership and development of people and process. The manager accountable for driving the change needed to meet the Plant and Company' s expectations and goa through the resources available. The manager is also accountable for meeting these goals in a way that engages employees at all levels, develops them to continually improve results, fosters an environment of mutual respect and accountability, and to create an installed succession plan that ensures continued success independent of any one individual.Will directly supervises the maintenance and operations team.
